He was predeceased by: his parents, George Harrison Prewett and Amelia Pearl Prewett (Hartman); his wife Frances E. Whisonant; his daughter Amy Walling; and his siblings, Carl, Melvin, Leroy, Pauline, Ernest and Burnell.
He is survived by: his son Steve Prewett (Cathy) of Fosterburg, IL; his great grandchildren, Kathryn Hunter (Brian), Jeff Prewett (Kelci), Sarah Jensen (Scott) and Erin Massey (David); his sister-in-law Marie Barber (Bill) of Hixson, TN.; and also, Colby, Lillian, Rylee, Emerson, Josie, Hannah, Madison, Levi, Jameson, Maebry and Rosie.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Westminster Presbyterian Church (1433 W Delmar Ave, Godfrey, IL 62035). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
