He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Church; his spouse Pam Roesemeier; his children, Rick Roesemeier (Erin) and Jenifer Eckert (Ben); his grandchildren, Henry, Patrick Roesemeier and Theo Eckert; his siblings, Tom Paulter and Nick Paulter (Pat); and his siblings-in-law, Bob Aubuchon and Mary Anterhaus (Gary).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the American Diabetes Association.
