She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Carl and Christine Helen Liberty (Bleske); and her brother Arthur Carl Liberty Jr.. She is survived by: her spouse Ronald Van Horn; her children, Kimberly Bosworth (Mike) and Brian Van Horn (Amy); her grandchildren, Imma-Jane Horn and Lucy Kate Van Horn; her sister Penny Sellers (Wayne); her brother-in-law Robert Van Horn; and her nieces and nephews, Christine, Amy (Shawn), Holly, Adam (Dena) and Bobby.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Michele's name can be directed to the National CFIDS (Chronic Fatigue Immune Dysfunction Syndrome) Foundation.
