He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Church; his wife Arlene Kohnen; his children, Joe Kohnen (late Barbara), Rosanne Boedeker (Ken), Ken Kohnen (Nancy), Rick Kohnen (Lois), Jerry Kohnen and Chuck Kohnen (Donna); his grandchildren, Joey, Danny, Brett Kohnen, Debbie Volstromer (Alex), Beth Suba (Danny), Kristin Fink (Matt), Jeff Kohnen (Erica), Kelly Knight (Daniel), Amanda Forasteros (JR), Brandon Kohnen (Amanda), Andy, Sam, Emily Kohnen, Ryan, Kayla Kohnen, King, Paul, Anna, Lydia and Ellis; and his sister Margie Heppermann.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A Mass will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 9:15 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Rose Philippine Church (675 Graham Rd, Florissant, MO 63031).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donation in Joseph's name to T.E.A.M., 265 Rue St. Catherine St., Florissant, MO 63031 appreciated.
