He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Rita Blubaugh; his parents, Lemuel Blubaugh and Gertrude Blubaugh; his children, Belinda Wiesehan (John), Craig Blubaugh (Nicole), Colette Bellville (Keith) and Derek Blubaugh (Leigh Ann); and his sisters, Dorothy Whitney (late Hap) and Mary Schiffman (late Donald).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jim's name to St. Jude Children's Research Foundation.

“Hi Rita and family. I'm very sorry for your loss. Jim was a good friend. He was "One of the good guys". I first met Jim in 58 at Northland Bowl the first year they opened. We needed a bowler and Jim was working there and bowled that season with me and my brother Fred. Later in life I bowled against him and with him at Crest bowl. We also fished together at Bolin's lake house several times. I'm sorry that I can't make the memorial this weekend. Once again. Really sorry for your loss. Take care.”
