He is survived by: his children, Cheryl King (Don) and Michael Lodholz (Dorleta); his grandchildren, Nicole Crowley, Grant Lodholz and McKenzie Lodholz; his great grandchildren, Harper Grace and Hunter Michael Crowley; and his sister Elsie Heimbuecher (late Art).

Memorials may be made in Gus's name to Shriner's Hospital for Children.
