Frances R. Tierney Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances R. Tierney (Florissant, Missouri), who passed away on February 26, 2025, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Pietro Mannisi and Mary Mannisi; her husband William Tierney; her sons, Tommy and Bill Tierney; and her brothers, Sam, Angelo and Anthony Mannisi.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Tierney, Kathleen Getz (Michael), David Tierney (Julie) and Jerry Tierney (Betti); her grandchildren, Bill Tierney (Jody), Brian Tierney (Jennifer), Bob Tierney (Cami), Ben Tierney (Bridget), Brett Tierney (Jennifer), Krista Walla (Jimmy), Jennifer Behrens (Brian), Michael Getz, Michelle Deniston, Amy Young (Brian), Melissa Tierney, Tyrel Tierney (Natalie), Ryan Tierney (Vanessa), Hailey Tierney, Maureen Tierney, Joseph Tierney, Nicole Lendino (Zac) and Becca Powell (Brent); her daughter-in-law Linda Tierney; and her siblings-in-law, Mary Alice Mannisi and John Tierney (Rose Marie).
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Angela Merici Catholic Church (3860 N Hwy 67, Florissant, MO 63034). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Frances' honor may be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society or a Mass said in her memory.
