She was predeceased by: her husband Leroy Salzman; and her children, Vicki Weible and Jeffrey Salzman. She is survived by: her children, Dr. Gary Salzman (Michelle) and Sharon Kutchma (James); her grandchildren, Sarah Salzman, Joey Salzman (Liz), Emily Hagman (Brandon), Brian Weible and Marisa Kutchma; her daughter-in-law Mary Salzman; and her brother Joseph McDonnell.

Charlotte donated her body to St. Louis University for the advancement of science.
