We are sad to announce that on October 1, 2023, at the age of 63, Nita Jo Swain of Fisk, Missouri, born in Kansas City, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Billy Shands and Peggy Shands. She is survived by : her children, Heather Rizzuto (Jeff Calhoun) of Fisk and Cody Pennington of Fisk; her grandchildren, Kayla Suratt (Noah), Madyson Calhoun, Billy Calhoun, April Calhoun (Melinda), Heather Calhoun, Tasha Graves (Dustin), Ashley Massey (Chris), Zach Calhoun, Chevy, Matthew, Corbin and Leighann Martin; her great grandchild Baylor Suratt; her sisters, Wanda Mareschal (Dean) of Fisk and Vickie Shands of Fisk; and her cousins, Jerry and Gary Arnold. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
