He is survived by: his children, John Thurman (Christy) of Crystal City and Sandra Hynes (Fred) of Festus; his grandchildren, Matthew Hynes (Cindy), Gregory Hynes (Chelsea), Lindsay Ammons (Ethan), Brittani Cibulka (Michael) and Lexi Thurman; and his great grandchildren, Ainsley Hynes, Cohen Hynes, River Ammons and Joseph Cibulka.
