He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Childress and Alice Childress; and his siblings, Lucille Bovaer, Marie Shoop, Dale Childress and Paul Childress.
He is survived by: his sisters, Lousie Brennan, Viola Hinch, Barbara Amsden and Marilyn Hill.
