He was predeceased by: his mother Ella Mae Chapman (Hasty); his daughter Carrie Erp; his sons-in-law, Ray Erp and John Edgar; and his brother Junior Chapman.
He is survived by: his wife Netta Lee Chapman; his daughter Carolyn Edgar; and his grandchildren, Tim Edgar (Charity), Andrew Edgar (Amy), Matt Edgar (Hannah), Mike Erp (Tara) and Kimberly Diaz. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
