He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard Cox and Betty Lee Cox (McAntire); his brother Randy Cox of Festus; his nephew Kyle Cox of Crystal City; his nieces, Christy Roth of Festus and Teresa Summers of Festus; and also Betty Lee Cox. He was also cherished by numerous other relatives and many dear friends.
