He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Herbel and Estelle Herbel (Bareis); and his sister Debra Culis. He is survived by: his wife Debbie of Grain Valley, MO; his children, Michelle Herbel Stueve (Mark Kelsey) and Jason Herbel (Melody Beeker) of Stover, MO; his grandchildren, Aria and Veda Reinhardt; his son Richard C. Herbel Jr. of Orland Park; his grandchildren, Rikki and Miranda Herbel; his daughter Kimberly Herbel (Lisa Newlin) of Lakeland, FL; his grandsons, Kenneth Nedbal and Brian Holubetz; his siblings, Jacque Pierce, Joanne Gianino and Robert Herbel of Festus, MO.; and his grandchildren, Victor Stueve V, Zoe Kelsey and Cole Kelsey.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Disabled American Veterans or Shriners Hospitals for Children.
