He is survived by: his wife Joan Johnston of Festus; his stepchildren, Sara Robinson (Dean) of Festus and Bradley Fox of St. Louis; his children, Michael Johnston (Nicole) of Montrose, Kevin Johnston (Connie) of Simpsonville, S. C., Stephen Johnston (Suzanne) of Creston and Cynthia Thomas (Chuck) of Clearmont; his grandchildren, Sophia DeJulio, Dane, Marissa, Emma Johnston, Hannah Johnston, Ellie Sandeman (Cort), Paul Johnston, Kirstie and Korbin Thomas (Hailey); and his sister-in-law Betty Johnston of Creston. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
