He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Everette W. Simmons and Mary L. Simmons; his wife Loretta Simmons; his children, Brenda Welcher, Linda Stemper, Kathy Perkins (John), Debbie Latour (Nick), Arthur Stemper (Melissa), Joe Simmons (Carol) and Steven Baker (Nikki); and his siblings, Dave Simmons (Gwen) and Linda D'Anthony (David).

In lieu of flowers, donations towards funeral expenses would be appreciated.
