It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Morgan of Festus, Missouri, who passed away on January 3, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Margaret Morgan to pay them a last tribute.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Margaret is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Allie Lee and Thomas Preston Morgan. She was also cherished by cousins in Mississippi and her many friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (113 Grand Ave, Festus, MO 63028). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Drew Cemetery (169 S Union St, Drew, MS 38737).

In lieu of flowers, memorials in her memory are preferred to the Jefferson County Animal Control in House Springs, Missouri, the Open Door Animal Sanctuary also in House Springs, or the Alzheimer's Association.

“Margaret has been my friend ever since I came here from England in 1974. We sat together and sang together in the First United Methodist Festus church, during all those years. She had a lovely, mellifluous, soprano voice. She was a loyal and lively friend, and I am so grateful to her for all she added to my life here. Love and Light and Eternal Joy, my dearest Margaret. ❤️🌞🎵”
