With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linda Nell Surdyke (Festus, Missouri), born in Oakdale, Louisiana, who passed away on May 14, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Sliman and Julia Sliman; her grandson Thomas Surdyke; and her siblings, Gloria, James, Bill and Emile.

She is survived by: her brother Ernest; her husband Gary Surdyke; her children, Debbie Washeck (Bruce), Cindy, Tim Surdyke (Janice), Greg Surdyke (Ginger), Matt Surdyke (Jennifer), Jennifer Huelsing (Josh), Rene, Rebecca Waterkotte (Matt), Sarah and Emily; her grandchildren, Travis, Nikki, Jake, Julia, Victoria, Marisa, Elaine, Rosemary, Frances, Kylie, Kendal, Mackenna, Marah, Elijah, Jedidiah, Jonah, Ezekiel, Micah, Bailey, Cameron, Aubrey, Axel, Rolen, Zane, Rocky, Maxwell, Jude, Taylor, Chloe, Hannah, Chase, Cadance, Isabella, Estrella and Maiki; and her great grandchildren, Helen, Evelynn, Waylon, Walker, Amelia, Lennon and Jovi.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Birthright of Hillsboro in Memory of Linda Nell Surdyke.
