He was predeceased by: his parents, Imogene "Imor" and Edward "Manny" Ray, Jr.; and his brothers, Larry Ray (Genevieve "Gip"), David Ray (Belle), Dwight "Tine" Ray (Donna Survives) and Ronnie.
He is survived by: his wife Darla Jean Ray of Festus; his sons, Jerry "Shaun" Ray (Sharman) of Villa Ridge and Willie "Chad" Ray (Kristie) of Festus, Missouri; his siblings, Karen "Sissy" Tatum (Phil) of Anniston, Missouri and John Dee Ray (Phyllis) of Anniston, Missouri; his grandchildren, Shauna Jackson (Austin), Afton Simms (Jesse), Shayla Nemec (Gary), Emily Ray, Logan "Chad" Ray and Jerry "Shaden" Ray; and his great grandchildren, Brayden, Kayden, Aliyah, Embree, Gary III, Aiden, Levi, Owen and Makinley.
