He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Rundel (Portell) and Loran "Spud" Rundel; his siblings, Robert Rundel (Taylor) and Betty "Peachie" Williams; and his brother-in-law Robert Beck.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Susan Rundel of Festus; his children, Todd Rundel (Angie) of Festus, Lisa Shockley (Pat) of Festus and Vicki Henry (Travis) of Festus; his sisters, Norma Beck of Marthasville and Rene "Sissy" Duncan of DeSoto; and his siblings-in-law, Charles William of Sikeston and Frances Rundel of Old Mines. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital or St. Joachim Catholic School, Old Mines, Missouri.
