It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Ward of Festus, Missouri, born in Kennett, Missouri, who passed away on June 1, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arvil Ward and Fronnie Ward (Penrod); his wife Thelma Ann Ward (Whitmire); his sons, James D. Ward and Terry Wilder; and his siblings, Russell Ward, Durham Ward, Charlie Ward, Lonnie Ward, Junior Ward, Polly Dempsey and Eileen Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Maurice Mann of Festus, Greg Ward of Hillsboro, Jamie Shook of Kokomo, IN and Lisa Morgan of Ocala, FL; and his sister Freda Nix of Festus. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Bloomfield, Missouri Memorials/Donations James Leo Ward, age 81 of Festus entered into rest Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Fountainbleau Nursing Center.
