He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Louise Gossett (McClure) and James Rousseau Gossett. He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Sue Gossett (Metz) of Saint Peters; his children, Kimberlea Biggs of Omaha and Michael James Gossett (Rhonda Jean) of Barnhart; his siblings, Stacey Gossett (Lisa) of Troy and Carolyn Geil (Larry) of Overland; and his grandchildren, Samantha Louise, Isabella Colleen and Brady Michael. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
