He was predeceased by: his parents, Kirah Hancock and Edna Hancock (Egbert); and his siblings, Herman Hancock (late Cornelia), Mary Winstead (late Carmie), Louise Courington (late Curtis), Mabel Hendrix (late Bud), Cora Cartwright (late Joe), Ruby Hancock and Junior Hancock.
He is survived by: his children, Drenda Eaves (Pat) of Festus and Troy Hancock of Bloomsdale; his grandson James Troy "J. T."; his stepson Amon Hancock (Danna) of Union; and his pet Phoebe. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
