She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward J. Smith and Delia Smith (Rayoum); her husband Norman Ritcher; her son Ronnie Chatfield; her siblings, Silvester Smith, Joseph Smith, Roy Lee Smith, Benny Joseph Smith, Zelma Bange (Wally), Rosalie Huber (Edmond), Lorretta Portell (Johnny) and Dorothy Lindsey (Vol); and her great grandchild Myka Barbee.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis Chatfield of Festus, Michael Chatfield (Donna) of Festus and Theresa Welch (David) of Bloomsdale; and her sisters, Ellamae Turley (Charles), Maryann Roesch (Jim) and Ruthann Fox. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren, her twelve great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery (1204 Missouri Ave, Crystal City, MO 63019). A Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
