He is survived by: his partner Christy Winters; his sister Mary Beth Werner (Patrick) of Festus, MO; his sisters-in-law, Angie Filer and Jackie Moran; his children, Edith Filer (Papin), Richard Filer, David Filer and Michael Filer; and his sister Gwen Walsh. He is also survived by Several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the Basler Funeral Home (685 Center Dr, Ste. Genevieve, MO 63670). A procession will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 9:45 AM at the Greg's Home. A Mass will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Anne Catholic Church (5391 Hwy Y, French Village, MO 63036). A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Anne Cemetery (5391 Hwy Y, French Village, MO 63036).
