She is survived by: her husband Homer "Ken" Niewald; her son Rick Niewald of Linn; her brothers, Jim Schmitz (Jeannie) of Lake St and Jerry Schmitz (Mary Alice) of Millstadt, IL.; and her sister-in-law Pat Schmitz of St. Louis. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
