She was predeceased by: her parents, Valle Striler and Dorothy Striler (Polette); and her sister Shirley Rush. She is survived by: her husband Don Gaines; her siblings, Carol Shelley of St Clair and Charles Striler of Perryville; her daughters, Ranay Boylan of Herculaneum, Tina Holloman of St. Louis, Carol Bay of Pevely and Dawn Holloman-Kelly (James) of Hillsboro; her stepchildren, Doug Gaines (Vicki) of Tucson, Gregory Gaines of Wyoming, Kim Muniz (Andi) of Dallas and Reeni Hampden (Ian) of Little Elm; and her grandchildren, Marty Newkirk, Miranda Walker, Taylor Ziegler (Brandon), Austin Walker, Erin Boylan and Mitchell Hille. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, step grandchildren and great grandchildren, other relatives and many dear friends.
The family has requested that memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
