With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Crystal Rose Mahnesmith-Vera of Festus, Missouri, who passed away on January 13, 2025 at the age of 56. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Crystal Rose leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Chase (late Leo Barbero) and Kenneth L. Chase; and her husband Noel Vera. She is survived by: her children, Richard Mahnesmith of Galesburg, Jason Mahnesmith of Festus, Michael Mahnesmith of Festus and Samantha Wilson (Austin) of Galesburg; her siblings, Sharon Crawford of Oneida, Illinois, Kenny Chase of Galesburg and Steve Chase (Barb) of Tulsa, Oklahoma; her former husband Phillip Mahnesmith of Festus; her niece April Wade; and her nephew David English. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
