Carol James Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carol James of Festus, Missouri, born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 22, 2024 at the age of 82. She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend Collie Shirrell and Altha Reitzel Shirrell; her son Tim Dougan; and her husband Chandler James. She is survived by: her sons, Chris Dougan (Paulette Grana) and Gregg Dougan (Dana); her sisters, Esther Waldrup and Mary Drake; her grandchildren, Denise Dougan-Brown, Forrest Dougan (Nicole), Molly Moon (Adam), Connor Dougan (Samantha), Bridget Dougan and Liam Dougan; and her great grandchildren, Jace, Jonnie Brown and Lachlan Dougan.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (221 Brierton Ln, Festus, MO 63028).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Immanuel Lutheran Church Memorial Fund in Festus, Missouri.
