It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carmen Marina Jones of Festus, Missouri, who passed away on July 4, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ivan F. Jones, Jr.; her children, Gail Jones and Michael Jones; her son-in-law Michael Ferrel; her brother Hector Athie; her sister-in-law Jane Athie; and her granddaughter Christine Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Jones of Dupo, IL, Mary "Kathy" Ferrel of California, Matthew Jones of St. Louis, MO and Brian Jones (Charlette) of East Carondelet, IL; her siblings, Charles Athie of Chicago, IL, Anthony Athie (Ruth) of St. Charles, MO and Alicia Seeley of Ironton, MO; and her grandchildren, Michelle Poole, Jason Jones, Jeremy Laramore, Heather Jones and Ashley Jones. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren; and one great great granddaughter.
