She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lawson "Johnnie" and Irlby Mae Massey; her husband Ernest Gabauer; her son Stuart Gabauer (Linda); and her sisters, Sylvia "Doris" Townsend and Mary Hayes.

She is survived by: her daughter Susan Gabauer (Tim); her grandchildren, Erica Ziemann (Mike) and Blaire Agnew; her great grandchildren, Tate Agnew, Fiona Lively and Adeline Ziemann; and her brother Jerald Massey (Donna).
