He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Flossie Rout Dear; his parent Robert Ray; his children, Pam Rout and Linda Shepherd Cherished (late Rick); his grandchildren, Jamie Furnish (Josh), Rick Shepherd Jr. and Briana Peters Dear; and his siblings, Paul Rout (Nancy) and David Rout (Peggy).
