She was predeceased by: her husband Jay. She is survived by: her children, Roger (Nancy), Lori Cochran (Doug) and Traci Kraus (Jay); her grandchildren, Adam Lockwood (Jessi), Natalie Torretta, Ben Kraus, Jay Cochran (Danielle), Tim Cochran and Sydney Kraus Stephenson (Austin); and her great grandchildren, Ashli Lockwood and Wesley Torretta.

Memorial donations may be made in Velma's name to The First Baptist Church of Fenton.
