He was predeceased by: his wife Rose "Rita" Blanton; his son Phillip Raul Blanton; and his sister Alta Nichols. He is survived by: his daughter Jeanne Pinnon (Jerry); his grandchildren, Adam Blanton, Justin Blanton (Shelby), Maeve Blanton and Rachel Pinnon; his great grandchildren, Cameron, Paisley, Jack and Oliver; and his siblings, Duane Blanton (Judy), Mary Darling, Ralph Blanton and Janis Grimmelbacher.
