He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Burchett and Myrtle Burchett; and his brother Mark Burchett. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Burchett; his children, Kathryn Theobald (Steve), Angela Mayzum, Amber Bobermin and Ronald Burchett (Cherratie); his grandchildren, Graham, Thomas, Jason, Jessica, Christopher, Heather, Patricia, Emma, Sarah and Jacob; his siblings, Linda "Sue" Whitaker, Sally "Ann" Hurt (Bob) and Donald Burchett (Brenda); and his cousin Jeanne Moody. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Chapel Hill Mortuary - Kirkwood (10301 Big Bend Rd, Kirkwood, MO 63122). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
