She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Ulysses and Amanda Harriet Horton; and her adoptive daughter Aledea "Snookie" York. She is survived by: her daughters, Deanna Sims, Joy Rickman and Paula McCallister; and her grandchildren, Christopher, Matthew, Jim, Cindy, Steffanie, Jeanetta, Ray and Lucinda.
