He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph A. McCarthy Jr. and Bonnie McCarthy (Cummins). He is survived by: his sisters, Marianne McCarthy of St. Louis and Maureen McCarthy of St. Louis; and his nephew Mick Forgey of Kansas City.
