He was predeceased by: his spouse Marilyn McDonald; and his sibling Robert "Bud" McDonald. He is survived by: his children, Robert T McDonald (Jennifer), Beth McDonald and Amy Falkner (Thad); his grandchildren, Corey, Lindsey, Alexis Falkner, Hannah and Micah McDonald; his siblings, Nancy LaTourette and Tom McDonald; and his siblings-in-law, Steph McDonald and Doris McDonald.
