He was predeceased by: his parent Richard Shepherd; his child Carol Holbrook Shepherd; and his siblings, Robert Shepherd, Richard Shepherd, Barbara Fallows and John Alan Shepherd.
He is survived by: his parent Florence Regester Shepherd; his daughters, Elizabeth "Betsy" A. Shepherd of Pensacola, FL and Laura E. Shepherd (John Plummer) of Mercer Island, WA; and his nieces and nephews, Joan Pederson, Margot Klawitter, Sandra Shepherd, David Shepherd, Rob Shepherd, Scott Shepherd, Jayne Shepherd and Barabeth Fallows of British Columbia.
