He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Margaret Mitchell; his sons, Jeffrey Mitchell (late Toni) and Matthew Mitchell (Emily); his stepchildren, Elizabeth Blase and William Mitchell; and his siblings, Alex Mitchell, Ruth Sheldon and Elizabeth "Betty" Mitchell.
