He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Blakely and Myrle Richardson Blakely. He is survived by: his brother Kenneth Blakely (Bonnie) of Fayette; and his nieces, Sheri Eaton of Fayette and Lori Strodtman of Fayette.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Walnut Ridge Cemetery.
