She was predeceased by: her parents, Dick DeJongh and Winifred DeJongh (Dykstra); and her siblings, Edna, Virgie, Colleen and Marlo.
She is survived by: her children, Gaylon Bos (Elizabeth Jo) of Columbia, MO, Dr. Randall Bos (Stephanie) of Santa Fe, NM and Dr. Rachel Bos of Boulder, CO; and her grandsons, Brian Nichols and Thomas Bos. She is also survived by her parents and husband.
