He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Ellsworth and Caroline Hanna Baylor (Scott); his former wife Phyllis Blakley; his son Geroge Lewis Baylor; and his siblings, George Scott Baylor and Virginia Jane Ewing.

He is survived by: his granddaughter Martha Baylor (Burns); his wife Martha Baylor of Pittsburgh, PA; and his sons, Curtis Baylor (Kathy) of Fayette, MO, John Baylor (Denise Haskamp) of Fayette, MO and Jim Baylor (Peppy) of Waco, TX. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
