He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Smiley and Opal Smiley (Burton); and his spouse Lala Marie Smith. He is survived by: his son Dale Smiley of Farmington, MO; his grandson Billy Smiley (Allison Holem) of Fayette, MO; and his great grandchildren, Nikita, Shawn and Sierra.
