He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Bender and Laura Bender; his wife Beatrice Pauline Schantz Bender; his son Craig Bender; his grandson Nicky Bender; and his former wife Marceda Langwell Bender.
He is survived by: his children, Carolyn Ketsenburg (Julius) and Mark Bender (Cheryl); his grandchildren, Debra Miner (Michael), Curtis Ketsenburg (Lisa), Jonathan Ketsenburg (Jessica), Paul Bender, Valerie Bender and Jessica Reese (Bill); and his great grandchildren, Hasadiah, Shelomi, Lemuel, AviChara, Onesimus Miner, Sophia Ketsenburg, Kylee Bender and Elisha Reese.
