He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernas Abernathy and Betty Abernathy. He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his sister Lynae Maddux (David) of Wappapello; his brother-in-law Keith Huber (Marianne); and his nieces and nephews, Joshua, Hannah of Perryville, Jamie McKinnon (Lance) of Dixon and Dustin of Gainesville.
