She was predeceased by: her parents, John Monroe and Margaret A. Edwards (Thoma). She is survived by: her husband Don Mounter; her daughters, Sarah Mounter (Ralph Horne) of Columbia and Mary Lay (Jim) of Franklin; her grandsons, Ethan and Nicholas Lay; and her sisters, Ann Edwards of Columbia and Dixie Richey (Allen) of Columbia. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
