She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Gentry Mead, Sr. and Norma Marguerite Mead (Grapes); her husband Elbert Robert Hoard; her son Gary Hoard; and her brothers, Otis Gentry Mead, Jr. and John Mead.
She is survived by: her brother C. G. Mead of Moberly, MO; her children, Larry Hoard (Joanne) of Jefferson City, MO, James Hoard (Debbie) of Detroit Lakes, MN, Karla Hoard Huebert (Gerald) of Bluffton, SC and Michael Hoard of Phoenix, AZ; her nieces and nephews, Wendy Mead Loerzel (Jeff), Robbie Mead (Cathy), Joseph Mikel, Lee Ann Hoard Nichols (Bruce), Lenore Hoard, Jennifer Hoard Searle (Jon), Jonathon Hoard (Melaine) and Richard Smith (Julie); and her grandchildren, Father Dylan Schrader, Dakota Hoard (Linsey), Jessica Hoard Paxton (David), Isaac Hoard (Kylene), Tabitha Hoard Boyer (Scott), Daniel Hoard, Nicole Faubion Cottrell (Jeff), Brandon Faubion (Jaime) and Madison Huebert (Ryan). She is also survived by twenty-three great grandchildren, and many great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM at the Carr-Yager Funeral Home (204 N Linn St, Fayette, MO 65248). A memorial service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
