He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Henry and Bessie Gladys Espenschied (Sherfy); and his siblings, Doris Lusby and Roger Espenschied. He is survived by: his former wife Barbara Dodson; his wife Eva L. Estes (Wiemholt); his children, Rick Espenschied (Ruthie) of Fayette, Garry Espenschied (Julia) of Fayette and Tracy Shields of Glasgow; and his siblings, Gene Espenschied (Marilyn) of Slater and Gladys Smith (Bob) of Raytown. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
