He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Wheeler and Lee Wheeler; and his siblings, Everett, Jack Wheeler and Lila Edwards.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Wheeler; his children, Ken Wheeler (Kathy) of Agency, MO and Janie Farris (Edwin) of Faucett, MO; his grandchildren, Dustin "Vern" Wheeler, Jesse Farris (Barbi) and Megan Farris; and his great grandchildren, Jacob, Karson, Ava and Phoenix.

Memorials are requested to the Halleck Cemetery Association.
